He converted to Judaism when he married her. His conversion required him to get circumcised but he had already been circumcised as a child. Basically he's double circumcised. They did some ceremony where they slice the skin to draw a drop of blood. He published a whole essay about it.
There's speculation that he might be divorced now. In 2023, he said his wife and kids live in Israel.
That was his first wife.
This is so upsetting. Can't she just be in love with someone who is more handsome and successful than me but also not a zionist. Nauseating.

Yeah, they did a Hatafam dam brit. I remember this article being unusual because it is not common for converts in the more liberal stream of Judaism (liberal as in less stringent religious rules, not politics) to have this done.
Also, they dont typically slice the skin, it's usually a tiny lancet, like the ones diabetics use for blood sugar.
