Had some fun with this. Rules:
- When a tankie post comes up, post a legitimate, fair argument. Do not argue in bad faith. No matter how nasty the post may be. Legitimately combat the disinformation there by going into their bubble and posting a sane response.
- Watch the responses come in. Especially if the post is on the tankie triad.
- Don't feed the trolls. Don't respond to anything, unless there is actually a legitimate attempt to have a legitimate discussion. Otherwise, start a game of tankie bingo to help prevent yourself from responding to the madness.
Suggestions for expansion welcome.
This was the reason I didn't bother with this vile little scumbag. They're too predictable. They clearly believe the US media's version of everything, but also refuse to commit to any sort of specific position, so that when their position is proven wrong, they can pretend that they never held it and accuse you of "moving the goalposts" when they have been doing that themselves the entire time.
I notice they also kept insisting that they "hate" the US more than us, as if it were some kind of competition or something, like no, blindly hating the US is stupid. The US isn't some kind of ontologically evil movie villain, they are awful because of their actions. But goat doesn't understand why we hate the US and thinks we just pick teams like it's a sport or something (because to a comfortable lib like them, it is), they just say they "hate the US" more than us hoping to get us to go "Nu uh! I hate the US more than you, here look:" And then we say something that they can clip out of context to use as proof of how awful tankies are. But like all smug libs, they cannot imagine someone knowing something they don't, and cannot imagine someone more intelligent than them, and unfortunately for goat, they are probably the dumbest motherfucker on the fedverse, so their "brilliant trap" was extremely obvious.
And as Carcosa said, they were most likely just fishing for quotes they could cherry pick to show off how awful the tankies are. I truly do not understand what goes through the mind of someone like this, I cannot imagine a more pathetic existence.
Yeah that's why I jumped straight to asking them about a claim they made elsewhere, I knew they weren't going to be forthright about anything they believe in in this thread. I didn't expect how cowardly they were gonna be about their Zionism.
