That CANNOT be a real picture of them all group reading the script for the first time...

It is real. The footage in full context speaks volumes about how they all felt. They were still being professional about it, but I think it was hard to keep a straight face.

There is actual video of the full cast reading the script, specifically the ‘final interaction’ between John Snow and Daenerys. It looks real to me.
