Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.

It's like a new thing shows up every day. I wonder what will happen this Saturday?

  • January 3rd: Maduro taken from Venezuela.
  • January 4th: Greenland Premier states that Greenland is (edit: autonomous country) of Denmark.
  • January 5th: Venezuela gets their interim president.
  • January 6th: Venezuela confirms a number of wounded during the 1/3 attack.
  • January 7th: The MN shooting.
  • January 8th: Two people are shot by DHS agents in Portland. Also, Iran protests get much more intense.
  • January 9th: New video and discovery of "fucking bitch".

It's been a long year, and I'm learning there are actually 52 years in a year.

January 4th: Greenland Premier states that Greenland is part of Denmark.

Yes and no: it's an autonomous country within the Kingdom of Denmark, which is what their PM reiterated.

Kinda like Scotland within the UK, except autonomous.

I don't know that 'country' is exactly the right word, but yeah, it is a self governing and autonomous territory, that basically just exists within the legal framework / domain of Denmark.

Internally, it controls itself with its own government, but as far as foreign affairs and the military goes, its a territory of Denmark.

The majority of its population are Greenlandic Inuit, who've been there for thousands of years, Greenlandic is one of its official languages, along with English and Danish.

Prior to all this nonsense, there had been increasing support from both Greenlanders and the Danish government to it being its own fully independent country.
