An experimental mRNA treatment has converted the liver into an immune cell "nursery" that pumped out greater numbers of healthy T cells in mice. Since the immune system has a powerful effect on other things like organ health and inflammation, it is hoped that such a treatment in humans might significantly expand our "healthspan", keeping us healthier and more disease-free later in life.

It'll be hypocrisy for sure. One anecdote I can offer: after the COVID vaccine had been available for a while in our local hospitals (in FL) were flooded by a wave of antivax elderly people who felt it was safe to go out and socialize again even though they were unvaccinated (because it would give them 5G or whatever). One flustered doctor or nurse (I don't recall) suggested that the hospital set up a tent outside where the unvaxxed people could instead go and just use WebMD on a kiosk since they'd already shown they weren't interested in following the recommended medical intervention).
