For optimal gains that would be best. I personally used whey for years and just don‘t take the 'building as serious as I used to, so I don‘t take it anymore.

Sorry, I think twinks are beautiful I just don't feel okay when I'm one. It only happens when I'm having lapses in taking proper care of myself

Honestly the semantics don‘t matter, sport and protein is good for anyone. As long as you show up to the gym etc. you can be proud of your achievements however they may look.
