If we can get all the fossil fuel vehicles off our roads, out of our seas and out of our skies, we'll have a much better environment. I was hyped about the rear plugs on the lightning. Camping and recharging power tool batteries would've been great.

They are replacing the lightning with a model that has a smaller battery for in town driving and a generator to charge the battery. Sounds perfect for your use case.

And the Maverick EV will be under $30K. Americans still won't buy them.

They make a hybrid with the same plugs. Even more useful, really.
