For anyone who's curious, reclaimed water toilets are, indeed, a thing.
Yeah, you don't need the urinal to be under the sink. You can just run a pipe to the urinal...
Or run the peenus directly to the sink.
Yeah, I was a little confused by the choice of meme there, since this is actually a thing. https://www.sinkology.com/product/sinksense-greenflow-toilet-tank-sink/
I've actually seen those (or rather some quite similar to them) in the wild a few times. They're not very convenient to use (because the seat is in the way) even though you can't help but think they're a great idea each time you use them.
I'm not going to bother to research, but I'm sure there must be models where the sink faces the side of the toilet. It'd take up more space, but still less space than a totally separate sink and toilet.
There absolutely are, this one is just more or less exactly what was described in the meme.
You have to straddle the toilet backwards to use it pressing your member against the back of the toilet and sit down after peeing. 4/5 Stars.
My favorites have the sink next to the toilet rather than in one piece, yes.
You could do that with plumbing which you would have to do anyways.
I had one in Japan, it was pretty neat.
