What is Slackware mostly used for. Been a Linux geek for ages and never got around to that one for whatever reason.

I run Slackware on my gaming pc too. You can use it as a daily driver like any other distro. It doesn’t have a specific use case. It is what you want it to be.

It's a general purpose distro. Its niche is for users that want even more focus on KISS than Arch and even more stability than Debian. Or tinkerers who want "Linux from Scratch, but with updates".
