Generations have grown old and died saying they will stop abusing animals when lab meat comes out. And if you don't care about animal abuse, then WTF do you care about lab meat for?? You want to pay more for a worse product because you're just such a good consumer droid??? Wake up and stop being cruel and violent for no reason.
This argument still doesn't make any kind of logical sense. The meat industry isn't dangling labgrown meat in front of people as a way to avoid regulation.
If labgrown meat can get a significant amount of people to stop eating real meat because of things like cost, then it's a beneficial technology.
I mean there is the environmental factor.... Also, liking labgrown meat more than beans doesn't mean you don't care about animal abuse.
Lol, people are allowed to have preferences. I'm sure you spend money on bullshit that other people don't like.
