I think any country that regularly practices mutilation of children's genitals is backwards.

And yes, that very much includes the US.

To be fair, genital mutilation is probably the least of America’s worries at this point, they should see about fixing their monthly school shooting “surprises” first.

Well it's among the more minor issues currently when looking at the big picture, sure.
