I don't know how they got away with it
decades of anti-russian/anti-soviet and pro-german/pro-axis/clean wehrmacht propaganda. It's so bad you can hold up literal members of the SS as "anti-russian freedom fighters" and you'll have an entire room of parliamentarians clapping like trained seals
