The age of consent in most other countries is 14/15 anyway. Even in the US there are states where what they did wouldn’t be a crime

here's a great example of the is/ought fallacy: "this is how it is, therefore this is the way it ought to be"

you can see how fucking stupid the argument is when you apply it to slavery, or anything else that is clearly wrong, but is happening anyway
