Beyond that: He tries to appeal every lawsuit, drawing out the process, meanwhile he moves his assets to where they are out of reach of the law, probably still hoping that Trump will ~~pardon~~ help him one day. Poor guy, it's not going to happen.

Can't pardon someone who hasn't been convicted of a crime. He was sued not prosecuted

Sure you can, Ford pardoned Nixon for all crimes related to Watergate even though Nixon was never actually convicted of anything.
