I was shocked when I discovered it was him in the car in Waking Life
He was just a normal somewhat amusing crazy person before the right wing audience capture turned him into a monster. Waking Life was made at a very different time in Austin.
I would say it was more that Alex Jones helped further enmonsterify the right wing than it was they changed him.
