Okay, but that's a famas? Also the p90 is Belgian, not French?

P90 is what they should be using.
That's a substantial difference. The 5.7x28mm caliber the P90 uses is allegedly pretty good against amor for an SMG, but the bullets are expensive and it's never going to have the stopping power of a rifle.
Also France fields HK416s now anyway.

Magpul designed a similar (imo better) gun, the PDR-C, which never went to market as there was not enough interest at the time. P90 is pretty good, too. Gotta love dem bullpups.
Only for airsoft though, I hate real guns.
