No, it's absolutely not??? Mastodon is the most active community in the Fediverse with the most accounts and is most well known in the gerall public.

Mostly that it's impossible to find anything. People don't tag their posts, things are scattered across different instances, searches are unreliable and bad and there's no algorithm to try and help you find content you might like.

I've tried many times to use it and not once have I been able to actually find anything interesting enough to keep me on the platform. Would be nice if open source decentralized option could also come with a for you algorithm still but unfortunately once you get to the point of decentralized and open source the people making it are allergic to the idea of an algorithm
