Don't worry.
They had their troubles with the ancient Roman Gestapo and survived it. Our days' Gestapo isn't really more dangerous.
Yeah, dunno about that, mate.
If we asked the American citizens and non-citizens legitimately here whether they liked being thrown in to open-air cages at Alligator Alcatraz in the middle of winter, or deported to countries where they can't speak the language, whilst having their possessions (and possibly bank accts) seized by ICE & DHS for their own profit, in each case doubtlessly ruining many of these peoples' lives (or outright killing them), then I rather doubt they'd be sharing such a cheery opinion of the situation, mate.

Unless you count, like, guns and tanks and jets and drones and chemicals and nukes and...y'know, vastly improved forms of basically every single kind of technology they had and about a million others that didnt even exist yet.
That's correct. Against the divine help they had, I do not count man-made technology.
I didn't know the Roman Gestapo were divine, that's pretty neat!
