I went outside for the bins and the black cat came up with an excited wiggly tail. So I patted him/her for the first time.

spoilerHad to watch it though because they were doing roly polys and showing belly so I chose to keep my hands away from the bear trap. Seems smaller than I remember but fur is soft and shiny, doesn’t seem to be starving or ill.

Melbcat is sooky and cuddly tonight, she was snuggled up being held and tucking her head into my neck/under my chin.

spoilerA bit worried about eligibility for surgery in January. More risks are being discussed and because her usual vets don’t want to give more antibiotics her uti may need to be treated by a specialist.

Aww. Cat cuddles are the best. Did Melbcat get her tests done - yesterday? Was it ok?

She went to the vet today but is going to have to go to a specialist. And I guess see how it goes from there.

It’s unlikely she’s ever going to clear this uti but I’m going to do what I can to try and allow the procedure

Anything that buys her some relief is worth it at her stage of life. Sending you both Christmas miracle vibes ✨

Thanks, it’s much appreciated! I’ll be doing everything I can for her.
