We cannot take the land of sovereign nations. Period. To do so is warfare against a NATO member.

Pretty sure we can. We've got a long and storied history of doing it before now. And with American Mussolini in charge, why not do the Western Hemisphere equivalent of picking a fight with Ethiopia and losing?
