Rules:

Don’t be awful Lemmy Guidelines Still Apply.

We are agents of chaos I’ve created this to be the alternative to the community I used to manage on the website that shalt not be named “mapporncirclejerk”

Live and let die Meme trends happen, so please don’t message mods asking to take down maps that are repetitive to a bit.

Reposts Vs. Covers Not all reposts are evil- if someone posts something that has been done years ago, it serves to bring old memes to the new users. I call these meme covers. However it can be done in excess which makes it a repost and spam. Mods will determine if a post is a cover or a repost.

No impersonating mods I can’t believe I had to make this rule.

No harassing mods on an appeal We can talk it out, and we will be acting in good faith when making decisions. If you disagree with a removal, you are free to message for clarification or to appeal by giving some added context.

Bans Bans will be set to a maximum of 365 days for humans, and a minimum of 365 years for bots. I believe people can change, so if you are banned for good reason, do know that it is not permanent, it is just a way to say “take time to grow and come back when you are ready”.

The best drink is water

Refreshing, healthy, and universally appealing. Although city tap water is nasty (where I live). It tastes like stale pool water. Well water is delicious though. Tastes fresh, clean, and a little metallic, but I dont mind. Some people dislike the metallic taste, but I think I actually like it. Its a lot better than stale nasty pool water taste.

Water is also the base for many other beverages. What else do you make your tea with? Or coffee?

If water is so great, why are there so many organs dedicated to removing it from the body?

Because if you kept all your water it'd be too sad because you wouldnt be able to drink more delicious yummy water withou getting sick. But since our bodies get rid of old water, we can drink a lot of delicious water :)

It's so good that it's even in Coca Cola!

And if you're going to buy bottled water, buy mineral water. Mineral water is (generally, in most places) a protected term, it has to come from a registered source and the mineral content is monitored to verify this. Everything else, "mountain water", "spring water", or whatever is just a marketing term; it's just the same tap water that everyone in the location of that factory gets it from (while also depleting that local source sometimes before the locals can get it).

Mineral water is so good they tax that shit. But your own tap water, from a clean supply, maybe with a bit of extra filtering - that's what you want to look for when settling down.
