Which workplace is this not safe for?

[–] alsaaas@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 1 month ago (3 children)

Every office and public transport on this earth?

For real? I'm in Europe and these things can be seen on public museum adverts and whatnot.

I'm in america and I also do not get it. This is safe for public display.

Yeah no, unless you very specifically work on a bus that delivers 13 year old boys to the Islamic School for Chronic Masturbators, you're 100% more likely to be in trouble for fucking around on your phone than seeing 1028 pixels of impressionist bum decolletage

I was not twenty minutes ago on a bus with a man watching pornography, actual pornography. Nobody cared, but for the lack of headphones¹

As for workplaces, anyplace that would hire me would probably not care about this. It's obviously not pornographic. Unless I'm not supposed to be scrolling at all, then it's exactly as verboten as a pointing-at-cat-salad meme

Why not just keep images from loading when at work, if you want to keep such a broad inclusion in that class? It seems easier.

¹the sound was bad and loud.

it's the thought that counts. whether or not your workplace would object, it's nice to tag things with nudity as nsfw when possible. it's called "common courtesy".

it also happens to be the rules for this instance.
