Sorry for not posting spoilers this week, have been busy. I had read the text summary roughly 12-14 hours ago (later than usual), and chapter came out sooner than usual.

My thoughts

In grander scheme, it is not that important of a chapter, because largelly everythinh happening in this chapter was already infered.

3 major notes (imo) were

  • knowledge of roger's child (ace). I would have expected the wings must have known that there was a child, just not who, but apparently they did not and garp was the one who told them. This also sheds light on the fact that garp kept in touch with them even after rogers's execution, which i can definitely see happening, but did not expect.

  • imu's power is ridiculous - i did expect that marks must have more meaning than just tattoos (i obviously know about immortality and such) but even at level 1, imu can control you, and you do not even know of their existence yet. like if that happens - what do you feel? do you just think it was a thing just happened, you took a decision on your own or you understand someone else did.

  • akuma no mi (sorry, earlier i thought akuma was the name of fruit, apparantly that is japanese for devil fruit) - we finally got the second devil fruit that rocks wanted (assuming the other is gomu gomu no mi or hito hito no mi - model nika, which imo is a good assumption). it is a damn strong fruit. assuming jarul is not exxagerating (like sengoku saying WB could break whole of planet), and we have a rough idea that harald ~= rocks < rocks (inverted) ~= roger + garp (not peak), and assuming under control harald is just as strong (if not more) than inverted rocks, then harald would probably be strongest person (except imu) on planet if he had the fruit. if loki (for lack of a better word - a inexperienced fighter with just good genes (ancient giant shit) from harald who alone would likely be inferior to harald, and emotionally he is broken for attacking his father, and he could beat his father with the fruit (incidents of next chapter most likely, with assists of gaban and shanks), the fruit must be really strong. there are tonnes of theories for fenrir (a thunder wolf lets say, a "god" from nordic myths) or similar gods, but currently the do not seem that good.

if anything - if there are 4 gods - sun earth forest and sea, and luffy's fruit is sun god, then akoma is likely one of the other god fruits (maybe forest because elbaf and adam tree, but that is a very bad connection). assuming imu is sea (umi in japanese), it is either forest or earth, and there are some theories linking imu to be earth god. my current best guess is that imu somehow has either both powers or was earth god (or had earth god fruit), and somehow also took some of sea's power or was sea god and took earth's power (both power would explain why he wants to cover the whole world with sea, all his contracts are sea depth terms, earth elements come largely from existence of redline and power to control how land is distributed.). having the effective power of 2 gods would explaine why mu is so powerful. if you consider all (or some) of this - only the forest fruit is left. also you could see some symbolism that forest grow over land and sea, and live by sun's power, or in some framing - forest and sun team up to win over land and sea. there are some more small things i would like to add, but a theory in my thought comments is already a lot, and i should end this here.

Hi! Thanks for your comments

Honestly, I think this is not a second DF, but it IS the Hito Hito model Nika (Gomu Gomu no Mi).

The timeline roughly adds up. Shanks discovers it exists, saves it from Elbaph, but it's taken by the Marines. Before it's taken to Mariejois, Shanks intercepts and takes it again, leaving for the East Blue (likely to try and give it to Ace, who we now know he thought was the most likely successor to be the future KOTP).

It also adds up to what was said about Loki before: that people thought he was the destroyer of the world, the same role played by Nika in Elbaph's tales. He likely worked with Shanks to prevent the WG to know that the DF was taken from Elbaph.

Great chapter!

I personally do not think it is nika fruit, because that would mean there is some totally unknown df we absolutely do not know about. but from current evidences, i can not rule it out. thanks for reading

I really like your theory that Shanks wanted to give the fruit to Ace. It would make total sense
