So is he going to be worse off in America, or in China?
I think America because despite him probably having been a US asset, China have no reason to do anything about him now (no one gives a shit about this made-up fake atrocity anymore and he's clearly been cut loose by Amerikkka).
Who cares, collaborators get fucked
China might throw the book at him, but I think it's more likely they'll figure he's more useful if they turn him loose with a wire tap and occasional surveillance.
