Not a defense of Chomsky because fuck him, but he claimed he was an anarcho-syndicalist, i.e. not a tankie. Not everyone who sucks is a tankie.
I agree that he is technically not a tankie, I guess campist would be a more accurate term. But considering these recent revelations, one would does wonder...
