Could someone explain the joke? I don't get what Tom Scott is doing here.
I'm guessing it's because Tom Scott goes to plenty of places and some Fediverse users use plenty of instances
Is he like some travel YouTuber?
To my knowledge he basically goes to historically or technologically interesting places like Nuclear Reactors or old bridges and just talks about them.
I think he is a programmer too so it kinda fits.
