Now this could ofc. be different, if you can afford buying direct support from Nextcloud, but their publicly available options for selfhosting are so buggy and slow IMO that I speculate that itโs almost a net-negative influence on the self-hosted movement. They try to do too much and donโt look at their bug trackers.
Interesting, the NC instance I use are quite fast
E.g. thumbnail generation maybe 5x slower than Immich in my experience. Loading folders in apps (in particular large ones) is also slower than owncloud OCIS in my view. I guess if you run a powerful enough machine there will be no difference? I have tried on two different Odroid single boards
I mostly use it for Calendar and Talk, they are okay. Thank you for your comment, it's interesting
I also used talk (+turn server) for video calls but found i had to restart it often when no connection could be made, do you run into that?
