Place to post and discuss THRASH METAL!
RULES (MUST READ):
- Please keep things relevant to thrash (death thrash, blackened thrash, crossover, speed metal etc. are permitted). While we understand it is subjective, if a moderator believes a song to stray too far from thrash, it will likely be locked. Please do not take this personally. Repeat offenders may see posts removed.
- Please search before posting a song, do not repeat posts.
- Friendly debate is encouraged.
- When posting a song use the format of "Band - Song [FFO: band1, band2]". This just helps keep things uniform. The "FFO" (For Fans Of) section is optional. It is for lesser known bands. (Stole this idea from the Death Metal community).
- No racist, sexist, blah blah blah... you get the idea. This is not the place to discuss sensitive matters.
- No NSFW content (apart from songs/album covers. If they do include NSFW content, please mark the posts as such).
- Post in English only (obviously you can post songs in different languages).
- But most of all have fun XD.

Not sure what the projected image is, tho. Might be a clue in the album title. Looks like a woman in the bottom left, and a fist holding a rolling pin? The style kind of reminds me of those inkings in newspapers from like... The 1700s?
Might have more info: looks like this image is the cover art of their album Sound Of The Republic, and there are more images inside the case.
Alright, I'm curious to know too so I've contacted the photographer... Fingers crossed he gets back to me ๐
Yeah lmk your findings, if any ๐
Bad news; John (the photographer) wasn't involved in choosing images for projection, so he reached out to the art director, but the art director doesn't remember. He thinks he found them in an old book, but can't remember which book specifically. A tragic end to our search, for now ๐ฅ
But, in brighter news, John was happy to hear that the album is still being talked about!
That's good. Nevertheless, an interesting search.
