Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- AI-generated comics aren't allowed.
- Limit of two posts per person per day.
- Bots aren't allowed.
- Banned users will have their posts removed.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

Either post the text (which is significantly easier than this) or shut up, you have eyes why not do it yourself?
It's a copypasta, so they aren't actually putting in any effort.
OP is "Blujayooo" the cartoon is signed by "Jay Yoo", I'm going to think this might be OC ?
Good point. I mostly disregard the poster when I notice the content lacks anything accessible. I hadn't considered the possibility this is entirely original without a link to accessible alternative.
I was talking about the person complaining about the lack of transcription. They post that same list of issues on tons of threads.
Nope: a transcriber burying text elsewhere in the comments making the user have to hunt for it is not proper alt text. Proper accessibility demands the post is accessible.
The moderator @lawrence@lemmy.world seems to prefer removing critical comments over accessibility.
