We'll never know unless you try. Slap that puppy under your car and if we don't hear from you at the end of winter then we know it wasn't good for another season.
It either goes unused or gets you all the way to the scene of the accident lol
I like this approach, very scientific.
One can always make a hypothesis, but testing it with experiments is what really matters.
