Working on a project where I essentially need a sizable monochrome display - basically a clock display.

Any ideas where I could source a sizable one for fairly cheap, including a control module?

Are you looking for a 7 segment display? A lot of people build those with LED strips and 3D printed parts. You can often find large 7 segment LED displays on ebay or aliexpress too.

Was looking more for a high density display to display time and date, but perhaps other information .

I wanted to be able to play with the formatting, but I don't need color
