Move marks president’s latest effort to dismantle pollution regulations and support for cleaner-running vehicles

Donald Trump announced on Wednesday that he is repealing the Biden-era federal fuel economy standards, significantly weakening fuel efficiency requirements for tens of millions of new gasoline-powered cars and light trucks.

It marks the US president’s latest effort to dismantle pollution regulations and federal support for cleaner-running vehicles and renewable energy. Burning gasoline is a significant contributor to global heating and transportation is the largest source of greenhouse gas emissions in the United States.

“We are officially terminating Joe Biden’s ridiculously burdensome, horrible actually, Cafe standards that imposed expensive restrictions,” Trump said in an Oval Office announcement, flanked by top auto executives including the CEOs of Ford and Stellantis. “It put tremendous upward pressure on car prices, combined with the insane electric vehicle mandate.”

I mean how else is "Neither party gives a shit about you" supposed to be interpretted? To which I am sending you to the article.

So it played out exactly like I said.

You: Both sides same!

Me: See the article.

You; No! Both sides same!

You clearly don't read. This wasn't about the article. It's about Dems blaming everyone but themselves for their own failures. Which is all you people do. Enjoy being magalite

This is literally about the article. How you think the article and a thread about the article and all the comments about the article is in fact not about the article is beyond me. You simply don't want to acknowledge the article and the discussion about the article or the facts of the article or the positions of the article because it works against you. So you ignore the article and the facts of the article and the comments of the article and try to divert the discussion of the article to anything but the article.

And again: I am informing protest-non-voters what they voted for. You know, Trump overturning fuel efficiency because that s what the article and the entire thread is about.

And now we have the very bizarre "You want to discuss the article, which works against me, in a discussion forum about the article? You must be magalite". It makes no sense.

Makes plenty of sense when you rationalize being a closet bigot like all Dems are. "Vote for us so you don't get deported, but if you don't vote for us I hope you get deported" type of mentality. The fact that you lot can't see this is hysterical. Enjoy your monarchy though.

See? You are trying to divert the discussion about the article to anything but the article. You really want to get this off topic to anything else you can because the facts work against you.
