With friends and fake-GF's like these...

I suppose what might be interesting here is to know if Jansson took input from her readership. In other words-- would Moomin grow and learn from these things, and learn about his peers, or... would he get locked in to a sort of 'Seinfeld cycle,' in which nobody learns a damn thing from episode one?
