Been doing the Alton Brown recipe for years and gotten better each time. I don't even like turkey but I like cooking for people!

I have cooked with a brine for years. My mom had it this year for the first time ever. She loved it and didn't even need to season the gravy more. It was amazing. Loved working together on it.

I’ve gotten better every year. I always tell the family while I’m cooking, Alton Brown said to do it this way. I’m not much of a cook but it feels really nice how much they love the turkey I’m able to make so much that it’s become my task every year.

Edit: I was brining the turkey but not starting while frozen. I’m really excited to try this new method.
