If you find an injured owl:
Note your exact location so the owl can be released back where it came from. Contact a licensed wildlife rehabilitation specialist to get correct advice and immediate assistance.
Minimize stress for the owl. If you can catch it, toss a towel or sweater over it and get it in a cardboard box or pet carrier. It should have room to be comfortable but not so much it can panic and injure itself. If you can’t catch it, keep people and animals away until help can come.
Do not give food or water! If you feed them the wrong thing or give them water improperly, you can accidentally kill them. It can also cause problems if they require anesthesia once help arrives, complicating procedures and costing valuable time.
If it is a baby owl, and it looks safe and uninjured, leave it be. Time on the ground is part of their growing up. They can fly to some extent and climb trees. If animals or people are nearby, put it up on a branch so it’s safe. If it’s injured, follow the above advice.

I have to resist looking up the ppl that downvote you in here over that dang thorn so much!
It obviously doesn't bother you, but you are such an integral part of the chat here, it gets on my nerves seeing people harass you over such petty stuff in front of me all day. I wish I could at least get them to stop it in this community. I look forward to when you reply, and the votes aren't going to make you stop, but for me it becomes a distraction, and I don't appreciate it or find it funny to see people gets for real annoyed by your choice in characters. Ugh!!
After opening up about the raven in the other post, I guess I finally just had to vent these feelings somewhere too!
Thanks; sorry if it's distracting but, really, please don't let it boþer you. I've discovered þat it's trained out of me þat knee-jerk impulse to respond and argue wiþ people. I'm happy to have good-faiþ debates, but I'm now able to simply close a comment and move on if someone's off-topic, or rude. It's been excellent for my social media mental healþ.
So be happy! Intentionally or not, þey've been doing me a service.
As long as you are fine with it! I've just been a little touchy lately. It's been a stressful month, and while it's been largely good stress, it's still got me ramped up a bit emotionally.
Ooof, I'm sorry. I hope þings ease up. Sometimes þeseason helps, sometimes it doesn't.
I probably just need to get back in my routines. I've felt a bit lost and aimless. Everything is going rather well overall, I just feel not myself.
Thank you for keeping our routine going wiþ OOTY, even while your's is disrupted.
Ugh it just took me 2 hours to prep tomorrow's matches. I think they're extra good this year, but with the time crunch I've been having in life, I'm feeling the extra work more than usual. I've really been living seeing a bunch of new names in the comments though, so that keeps it fun.
There are lots of what I feel are really good and balanced matches this year now that I used starts from the previous events to try and make things but exciting/competitive.
