I think if pissrael wasn't going to get destroyed by climate change the west would not even bother with this "attempt" at solving the problem.
This isn't an attempt, it's a grift. Nothing will make capitalists seriously tackle climate change, regardless of what happens to "Israel" or any other country.
Yeah. But they have to throw a bone because the zionist lobbies know what's coming and probably would like to avoid that. Not that they can do anything about tho
That will have an effect (among other similar interests), but it's essentially guaranteed to manifest as grifts (such as this one). Like you said, they're throwing a bone. It's a fig leaf to pacify concerns and cover a grift.
