This is what happens when you spend all your money on endless war and imperial conquest rather than actually investing in your country and its people.
We spent decades and trillions on death and destruction. China spent that time and money doing the exact opposite.
The reason for those wars, and the decaying infrastructure, and the bottom 90% becoming poorer were all the same.
while demanding it to be so thanks to rampant disinformation
