Just wanted to show my ship after a few hours of trying stuff.
I built it based on the Razorleaf
and then changed a few parts. Changed the cockpit, landing bay, front landing gears and switched some stuff around.spoiler
(from the Mantis quest, if you have it I recommend doing it)
The good thing about it is that it comes with a Shielded Cargo hold that hides contraband and some nice engines and fuel tank (although ugly), at lower levels it's pretty good I think since these parts are still locked.
Where is the mantis quest?
It’s on a recorder on one of the pirates. You probably already have it in your inventory. I recommend you get your character up to level 5 at least. The enemies you will confront are significantly above your level but you can do it. The recording is called secret base 1. One of the pirates that attack the mining facility should have dropped it, if not, several other pirates carry it.
"Secret Outpost"
I got it at the beginning, after the Kreet base. I decided to explore the closest outpost on my map and got in a fight with some spacers and one of them dropped it.

Right after that I got ambushed by a terrormorph. It was right after reading about them in some computers. I literally fought till my last medpack and coachman shell but I won. I was expecting some good rare/epic loot like fallout 4 but no, aliens do not carry SMGs like post nuclear cockroaches do 😂
