The Colorado store will also debut an arcade experience featuring claw machines and gashapon machines, with Tomy Gacha machines.

To add to what OP quoted, the only thing left after Bain bled TRU dry (in the US) and auctioned off the corpse is the name. The entity who bought the name has been trying to capitalize on it for several years and mostly falling flat on their faces.

Toys "R" Us filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2017 and by 2018, the toy retailer announced the closure of more than 700 stores throughout the U.S. Over the years, Toys "R" Us attempted comebacks under new ownership but none have proven successful. Most recently, the retailer opened a flagship location in Minnesota's Mall of America in 2023, which remains open.
