Windows: Clean boot no bullshit software, nothing running: 4GB RAM allocated.
Nothing's really stopping you from revisiting Glorious XP (maybe a compatible computer, but if you have an old one you could always fire it up for some good nostalgia).
Is that all processes or is that kernal reserved RAM? (which could be for cached writes, open file cache, etc...)
This feature I especially hate.
