Overview:
Electric Vehicles are a key part of our tomorrow and how we get there. If we can get all the fossil fuel vehicles off our roads, out of our seas and out of our skies, we'll have a much better environment. This community is where we discuss the various different vehicles and news stories regarding electric transportation.

23,990 AUD - approximately 13,500 EUR or 15,600 USD. I don't know much about the pricing of cars in Austrialia, but it sounds pretty cheap.
The cheapest fossil fuel cars in Australia are AU$18,000 new, so $24,000 for an EV is very cheap. Until recently the cheapest EVs in Australia were about $40,000.
For comparison, the cheapest base model Toyota Corolla is around AU$31,000 and the Tesla Model 3 starts at AU$54,900.
But the Tesla will devalue like a rock.
Im sure it will be reliable. It looks like a car. TEMU also has similar bargains.
Comparing BYD with TEMU doesn't seem like a fair comparison. As far as I know, they score pretty decent in independent tests.
