Expect a similar tack (or radio silence) from Mamdani
https://www.nytimes.com/2025/11/10/nyregion/chi-osse-hakeem-jeffries.html
And your immediate instinct may be “oh it’s the New York crimes, nothing they write is true,” then he should simply endorse the man. Especially now that he’s won
Mamdani not following DSA line should be humiliating for the entire organization.
Why? That's how it's structured on purpose. If you could be compelled to follow the party line, that would be Totalitarianism!
It’s possible he surprises me and suddenly endorses his comrade. But we’ll see
How can you be someone's comrade when nothing binds you together?
Despite the heavy irony behind my use of the word here, don’t they share an organization?

"organization" seems pretty generous when discussing DSA
Brutal
Why are we asking a mayor about his opinions on the speaker of the house I am going to flip my shit
They’re both DSA members in New York running against establishment figures?
the guy would be leaving the city council, depriving Mamdani of a guaranteed ally. This is way more relevant than asking him about international stuff.
Fair I just feel like I'm tired of seeing this guy haha but yeah it's relevant here apparently
Because if they don't constantly manufacture scenarios in which he has to Say The Right Thing or be Evil then people might actually support him
