EUV is pretty good for a paradox release, but that's for a paradox release lol.

There's still a lot of issues to fix, and balancing to do.

Paradox games should be automatically disqualified. If your game only becomes "Good" around the fifth DLC release (Out of 20 or more) and you are expected to get your hands on all of them, that's not good.

as an ex-paradox fanboy i hate paradox fanboys.

their monetization model is straight up exploitative and they abuse the studios they act as publisher for regularly.

on top of that, their games give a whitewashed view of history and reinforce people’s bad historigraphical and historical practices. there’s a reason there’s a smattering of braindead fucking neonazis festering on the paradox forums…

There is something sinister about the fact that the holocaust isn't a factor in their ww2 game, but the purges are a central crippling mechanic for the soviets. Also the fact that the holocaust isnt real but their other games allow for a genocide button.

Don't they usually have awards for best DLC anyway? I've never played a Paradox game except for a little bit of HoI once, but it sounds like they'd be more deserving of that kind of award.

It would be a category it would make more sense for them to participate in. But I can't see them winning, given that some DLC are like old style expansion packs or serve as mini sequels.
