You could make the most innocuous post or comment in a hobby sub about stuff that doesn't matter. Then like clockwork every toxic smug shit-head debate lord on the site is going to jump down your throat. It's amazing how they pair their arrogance with how objectively wrong they are about everything.

I hate the fucking NPC meme and how it gets used by fascists to dehumanize everyone else, but god damn if it doesn't feel appropriate there. The top 500 comments on literally every single thread are repetitions of exactly the same three or four jokes ("and my axe!" or "I also choose this guy's mom" or some song written out line by line). That was pretty much always true for the big mainstream subs, but it is increasingly true for even niche subs now. People say reddit-logo is overrun by LLMs these days, but I'm honestly not sure how you could even tell.
