Worse camera and battery than the regular iPhone 17 but higher price. I can’t put my finger on why it doesn’t sell…

I’m perfectly happy with mine.

Me too buddy, there are dozens of us! Lol. The air happens to fit my needs perfectly. I want a thin and light phone, don’t really use my camera and battery usage is fine. I can totally appreciate if somebody is a heavy user this phone isn’t for them.

As for the price, yup it’s expensive. Feels like holding a piece of jewellery, and that’s nice.

It's totally fine that you both like it and I'm not saying it's a bad phone at all. It's certainly very beautiful, probably feels nice in the hand and is overall a competent iPhone with just less camera. But most people are looking at the price, compare it to the other models and see that it just doesn't make sense. It's a pure luxury product that is still cheaper than a Pro so who exactly is the audience?
