Chicago PD, clumsy shitheads though the are, has found no evidence thus far, nobody was hit, no shell casings, nothing. ICE constantly calls 911 with false claims, to the point where the Broadview IL chief of police has personally told them to stop. Greg Bovino himself claimed to have been hit in the head with a rock, a judge found that to be a lie. They have no credibility whatsoever. That said, they've been doing their damnedest to provoke people in Chicago and they absolutely have been begging to get shot. I'm constantly amazed at the restraint Chicagoans have shown in the months of ICE attacks and I'm not at all surprised if cracks in that show up.
I firmly believe the point of ICE's insane brutality in Chicago is specifically for the purpose of inciting violence against them, so DJT can call it an insurrection and bring in the guard.
What I don't think he gets is, the moment he does that, the gloves come off, there's no reason for us to hold back against ICE or the guard at that point, and I don't think he realizes just how many of us are carrying, legally or no, and how much we hate these motherfuckers.
