There is a reason tho. If you stopped watching, it clearly wasnt interesting or memorable enough to come back to your mind and reignite your interest for it.
Sometimes it is timing and distraction or changing circumstances. Especially when a lot of time passes between episode releases. If YouTube content creators can put out three videos a week on a shoestring budget, no major studio should ever tell me I have to wait four months for the next episode. I actually don't watch any shows where that kind of delay is even a possibility. Hollywood needs to learn from the media sources that are replacing them.
Ah i see that is the difference then. I only watch shows once they have finished releasing and then watch them all in one go...

I don't watch them until they're done either. But my wife always complains about waiting for the next episode of something, and I just shake my head.
