i think they have some mini solidarity issues periodically with canada (caw broke off from uaw very messily, cause chauvinism of americans, or at least i perceive it that way, in the 80-90s) and mexico, but not direct connect. i think wage equalization demand is huge, unfortunately they don't have sort of leverage they need to pull it off. (there is a movie "final offer" about the split of caw/uaw)

still at least this indicates return to transnational union issues.

(uaw still have lockheed chapters though (which i think got styled on by porky), so they are not super rosy)
