Oh yes, that's totally true. I was more commenting on their portrayal in general as being huge monster lizards.

To be fair, Spielberg did a lot to modernize the publics perception, people really did still see dinosaurs as these slow kind of bumbling lizards that were just waiting around to go extinct so Humans could come along, and the idea of them being real animals with behaviors and adaptations and something behind their eyes was very novel to burgerlanders
