I’ve got a bunch of those Hue bulbs. So the nice thing about those is if the internet or my network is down, I can just use the light switch.
Man the hue bulbs are just so expensive though. I do have Zigbee bulbs - which is the same wireless tech as Hue. I can pair my smart switches to the lights directly so that they work without any server at all however that interferes with some things I like such as I have my lights set to be different brightness and warmth depending on the time of day. And also it makes them turn on instantly while I like a more gradual turn on.
